Part C

PART C represents the construction of the sewerage system in Tuhinjska dolina, which is the most technically demanding of all the three sets. The sewer route is over 11 kilometers long. As a part of the sewerage system construction in the Tuhinjska dolina the temporary treatment plant in the village Šmartno v Tuhinju will be shut down and the sanitary wastewater will be discharged into the Domžale - Kamnik treatment plant. Only the construction of the connecting channels from Kamnik to Šmartno v Tuhinju is planned in the first part. A series of secondary channels that will connect with most of the settlements will be installed later. Most of the sewage system is designed in a way in which the wastewater emits gravitationally, except in places where that is not possible due to the terrain. Therefore, proper sewage pumping stations were installed into the system. Currently, there are works being carried out on agricultural land, because the growing season has not started yes. In the summer, however, the works will continue in the traffic areas.
